Wanda Henson Kearns, 58, passed away from Flu complications on January 17, 2025, in Ames.
Wanda was born in North Carolina on October 3, 1966. She had a love for Family, Friends, Dogs and Travel. She considered herself lucky to have a fruitful life in all the things she loved. She adored her family and friends. Wanda loved her many dogs with all her heart and enjoyed traveling the world. She was a wonderful soul that touched the lives of many people.
Wanda’s memory is cherished by; her husband Dwayne Kearns, children Joshua McCoig, Chelsey Gibson, Wesley Kearns, grandchildren Autumn Gibson, Wynter Gibson, her father Larry Henson, and her sister Tonya Henson.
Wanda was preceded in death by her mother Gail Henson.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 28th at 4:30 pm at the Goshen Free Will Baptist Church, 1300 West Catawba Ave in Mt Holly, NC 28120.
Special Message: Wanda loved flowers. She was aware at the end of how sick she was, and she expressed her regret at not telling everyone she loved how much they meant to her. She passed without pain and holding the hand of her husband.
