Tracy Lee Jones-Gerstenberger

Tracy Lee Jones-Gerstenberger, 56, of Clive, Iowa passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 19,1969 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to James Leroy Fattig and Doris Evelyn (Stanton) Fattig.

Tracy was full of life, known for her humor and her ability to make others smile. She enjoyed visiting the casino, thrift shopping and spending time with family and friends. She was a retired daycare provider and a devoted friend to many.

She is survived by her children Liana (Dustin) Jones of Waukee, Luke (Kristi) Gerstenberger of Des Moines, Jamie (James) Pettiecord of Runnells, Jeremy (Jessica) Jones of Altoona, Casey Jones of Indianapolis and Tyler Gerstenberger of Clive, and 16 grandchildren, her step father Greg Raymond of Norwalk, her brothers Steven (Jen) Fattig of Bondurant and Gene (Nylene) Johnson of Hugoton,  her sisters Tonya (Mike) Sargent Of Clive, Jill (Chris) Rauch of Des Moines and Amy Celznick of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Gerstenberger, and four siblings.

A celebration of life is planned for spring. Tracy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
