Linda “Lyn” Ann Fey

Linda “Lyn” Ann Fey, 72, of Johnston, Iowa, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025. She was born on November 6, 1952, in Davenport, Iowa, to Robert John and Margaret Anna Fey.

Lyn was a beloved sister, friend, and companion whose warmth and magnetic personality brightened the lives of everyone she met. She worked as a masseuse in Chicago, where her gentle spirit and caring touch brought comfort to many. Lyn’s love of life extended beyond her work—she found great joy in the simple pleasures of nature, especially spending time outdoors with her cherished Jack Russell Terriers. Her home and her heart reflected her artistic flair, love of color, and deep appreciation for the beauty in everyday moments.

Lyn is survived by her brothers Lawrence Edward Fey, Richard William Fey, and Thomas Howard Fey and his wife Lucy Gomez-Fey, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert John and Margaret Anna Fey, and her brother John Robert Fey.

Details of the service will be announced once arrangements are finalized.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to On With Life in Ankeny, Iowa, or to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, honoring Lyn’s lifelong compassion for animals and her generous heart.

Lyn will be remembered for her radiant smile, kind soul, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.
