Kristin Opal Darlene Boylan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kristin Opal Darlene Boylan, who was born on April 3, 1987, at Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, and passed away on February 5, 2026, at UnityPoint Hospital in Des Moines.

Kristin lived her life with her heart centered on her boys, Gregory and Izak, who were her greatest joy and purpose. Everything she did was for them, and her love for them knew no limits.

She was always happy, energetic, and full of life. Even in the face of obstacles, Kristin chose positivity and strength, meeting challenges with resilience and a bright spirit. Her laughter, warmth, and love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Kristin is survived by her beloved sons, Gregory and Izak Phillips; her mother, Kimberly Wilson; her stepfather, Gary Graham; and her brothers, Joshua Graham, Roger Graham, and Gary Graham Jr. She will also be deeply missed by extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, June and Robert Swacker.

Kristin’s love, strength, and devotion to her family will be remembered always, and her memory will live on through the lives she touched—especially the two boys she loved beyond measure.
