Kim grew up in Urbandale but attended Valley High School along with her brothers and sisters. In her schooling years, Kim played the violin and piano and passed that love for music to her children.
Kim distinguished herself throughout her career, steadily rising to become a Director at Ingram Entertainment, a company she dedicated more than 20 years to with remarkable commitment and expertise. Following her time there, she pursued her passion by running her own family entertainment business, creating a space where her family could come together and share in meaningful time and experiences.
Kim loved being outdoors in the sunshine. She loved gardening and being in nature and spent many days growing her favorite flowers and herbs, as well as tending to her grapes! She loved a good thunderstorm and the sound of rain. She dreamed of riding a motorcycle to Montana and living by the water.
Kim loved her family most of all. She loved “couch time” with her kids where they would talk for hours. She loved watching her granddaughters grow and snuggling them. Often referred to as “the fun Aunt” by her many nieces and nephews and was searched out at family gatherings for a hug and a laugh.
Kim left an incredible legacy of love, dedication and strength. Through all of the adversities she faced in life, she was always there for those she loved.
Saying that she will be missed, falls short of the love she left behind.
We love you. We miss you. We will see you again.”
