Kerry McEnroe

Born January 2, 1983, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he died December 29, 2023, at the age of 40, just a few days short of his 41st birthday.

Kerry attended Valley High School in West Des Moines. He was a very bright, kind, and helpful son, brother, and friend. He loved all animals, birds, and bugs, and helped many of them to survive. Kerry was a talented musician, loved to play soccer and was successful in growing a variety of plants. But the highlight of his life was when he went fishing. He loved and influenced many children in his short life. He had a thriving and successful business, “Chimtech,” at which he worked very hard.

In addition to his mom Pat and stepdad Ken, he left behind three older brothers: Aaron (Mandy) Hintz, John Hintz, Tim Hintz, and twin brother Kyle McEnroe. Also, a sister Becca (Will) Partridge, and estranged son Killian. Three nephews, one niece and many, many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John McEnroe.
