Jeannie F. Cogley, 68, of Des Moines, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Jeannie Cogley was born February 27th, 1954, to Willard Lynch and Beverly Pennington. She was united in marriage to Clark Cogley on September 26th, 1984, in Des Moines, IA. The couple spent 39 wonderful years together and raised children: Clayton, Jason and Stephanie. She loved spending time with her family and her grandson, Colton who she thought the world of. Jeannie’s greatest love was her family, and her children were proud to call her mom. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and sports fan. She also enjoyed spending time outside and going on walks around the lake. Jeannie leaves a kind and compassionate legacy behind and will be missed terribly by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Beverly Lynch, Mother- in -law Irma Cogley, children, Clayton, Jason, and Stephanie, grandson, Colton, sister-In-Law, Cindy, sisters, Linda Stiger, PA., Lori Kaplan, WI., brother, Scott Lynch MN., and nieces and nephews, Bret, Julie, Jennifer, Steven, Kim, Karie, Kristi, Karla, Collin, and Troy.
In death she rejoins father-In-Law, Richard Cogley, Father Willard Lynch ,sister Dixie Baughman, Sister-In-Law Michelle Lynch and husband Clark Cogley.
