Cristopher (Cris) Williams passed away unexpectedly November 10, 2020 at home. Cris was born in Burlington, IA on December 4,1950. He grew up in Burlington and West Des Moines, IA and graduated from Valley High School. He enlisted in the United States Marines and served in Viet Nam. He also retired from the Iowa National Guard and the U.S. Postal Service as a Maintenance Supervisor.
Cris is survived by his wife Rose, son Garrette, four brothers David (Tracy) Waukegan, IL, Kimberly (Toni) Jacksonville, FL, John Indianola, IA, Charles (Lori) Ackworth, IA and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death be his parents Louis and Ida Florence and an infant twin sister Rebecca.
Cris always enjoyed a friendly chat with friends and strangers over a beer.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Internment will be at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter, IA.
