Alvin Milton Exline, age 78 of Moulton, Iowa passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at the Mercy Hospital, surrounded by family. Alvin was born on June 3rd, 1944, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the son of George and Enid Exline. He united in marriage to Nyoka G Morgan on February 29th, 1964. From this union, two children were born, Richard (Rick) Exline and Lonnie Exline.
Alvin worked at John Deere in East Moline, Illinois and transferred to Ottumwa, Iowa to be closer to family, retiring after 25 years plus at John Deere.
Alvin is survived by his two sons; Rick (Anne) Exline of Grimes, and Lonnie (Robin) Exline of Sully; and five grandchildren, Ryan Exline, Brett Exline, Nathan (Courtney) Exline, Korey (Rachel) Exline, Kaley Exline; and one great grandchild Herman Exline. In addition, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Nyoka; his parents George and Enid Exline; brothers, Alfred Exline and Richard Exline; and one sister, Joyce Horn.
Alvin enjoyed working in his garage on his cars and driving his Corvette. He also enjoyed going to swap meets and car shows, always looking for a bargain. Alvin loved eating at George and Nicks Pizza, and Tasty Tacos. He was a great husband, father, grandparent and great-grandparent and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was an active member of the Moulton Masonic Lodge until the lodge dissolved and UAW member for his work through John Deere Company.
Alvin was a recipient of a heart donation 23 years ago and the family would like to bring awareness to Organ Donor Association, organ and tissue donations save lives – give the gift of life. You can register via Iowa Donor Network - www.iowadonornetwork.org or www.organdonor.gov

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 29th from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Moulton Community Center, Moulton, Iowa.
