William Everett Brown was born on July 20th, 1942. He was raised on a family farm in Laurel, Iowa. Those years on the farm helped him find his character and his love for adventure, the outdoors and enjoying life.

He built a remarkable career with IBM where he started right after he graduated from Drake University. He also had a short stay with MSI where he continued his love of technology and sales. Equally important to him were his hobbies and passions that filled his life. They included fly fishing, skiing-he trained in Montezuma, Iowa and then volunteered during the season as a Ski Patrol in Colorado, tennis, sailing, hunting and crossing the finish line of multiple marathons including the New York marathon. He embraced every opportunity with his adventurous spirit that will be remembered by all who knew him.

To his family he was a devoted husband, dad and grandfather and great-grandfather. His love and his wisdom, warmth and quiet presence will be deeply missed.

The family will gather privately at a later date to celebrate his life.

The family request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Parkinsons Foundation to support research and care for those living with Parkinsons Disease.
