Tony Wayne Schutte was born October 21, 1954, to Henry and Betty (Eeling) Schutte, in Pella, Iowa. He passed away peacefully at the Comfort House on March 29, 2022, at age 67, surrounded by family.
Tony attended Pella Christian schools and then continued on into the construction field. In his time in the construction field, he did concrete work, built houses, and was a self employed roofing contractor.
On October 21st, 1977 he married former spouse Marcia Van Kooten and they went on to have three children, Tabitha, Dustin, and Paige.
Tony adored his children and grandchildren. Tony loved taking his children to his job sites to pass on his knowledge and skills. Quality time with them included taking them mushroom hunting, fishing and watching movies. He frequently took the grandchildren to McDonalds to spoil them.
Tony loved doing anything outdoors but especially fishing and getting a suntan. Most recently he was always feeding the birds and squirrels. When indoors, he loved completing word search puzzles and reading mysteries or western genre books.

Tony is also survived by his mother Betty Schutte; brother Michael Schutte and family; sister Cyndi Schutte and family; and brother Rodney Schutte and family.
Tony was preceded in death by his father Henry Schutte.
