Tina Marie (Woosley) Slack passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving husband at her side.

Tina was fortunate enough to find two great loves in her life.  She married her first love, Joseph Woosley on January 10, 1976, and from that union, two daughters were born.  Later, on May 6, 2023, she married her second love, Bill Slack, gaining a loving extended family of bonus children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tina dedicated 37 years of service to the Iowa Department of Public Safety before retiring in 2022. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, serving as an SCA judge and spending time with her friends and family.  Her beautiful smile could light up any room and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Slack; mother, Helen Germaine; daughter, Heather Dixon; brother, Terry (Jo) Hunter; bonus kids, Michelle (Ronnie) Frazier, Kim (Corey) Frank, Robert Williams.  She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 cherished grand dog, and many dear friends and extended family members.

Tina was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Woosley; daughter, Stephanie Kirchner and son, Dustin Dixon.

A visitation for family and friends will be on May 9, 2025, from 3:00-8:00 at Indianola Community Church, 14424 Kennedy Street, Indianola, IA 50125.
