Terry Lynn Hobbs “Tear em up Terry” passed away on Thursday October 14, 2021, with her family by her side.
Terry Lynn Hobbs was born on October 23, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa; she was the daughter of Jack and Sharon Rose (Grandstaff) Hobbs. Terry attended school in the Des Moines Public School District. She had lived in Des Moines, Iowa her whole life and worked in car detailing and landscaping. Terry enjoyed softball, Harley Davidsons, her grandchildren, always watching them playing sports, and she had a great love for her family and always had their back no matter what.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Brandon Dewayne (Opal Ruth) Hobbs Sr., grandchildren, Brandon Dewayne (Stacey) Hobbs Jr., Austin Ray Hobbs, Shania Lynn Hobbs, Melissa Cossman and Adrian Rhiner, great-grandchildren, Brandon Hobbs III, Brody Hobbs, and Nevaeh Hobbs, siblings, Davy Hobbs, Johnna Oliver, Toni Long, Sean (Stephanie) Johnson, and Regina (Jon) Graham.
In death she rejoins her mother father and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at New Life Christian Fellowship, 2409 S E 6th Street, Des Moines, Iowa. A Celebration to follow at Thirsty Sportsman on S W 9th. Memorial and Flowers may be sent to the Christian Fellowship Church.
