On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Tammy Lane Kordick, 67, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Born to Albert and Evelyn Ehrenfried of Fontanelle, Iowa. Tammy graduated from Bridgewater Fontanelle, and then went back to school in May 1st, 2015 and graduated from Kaplan University where she became a nurse.
Tammy was the biggest cheerleader to her three grandchildren. If she couldn’t make it to their games, she was certainly cheering them on from home. She also loved spending time shopping, sleepovers, watching Christmas movies, and decorating. She also loved spending time with her two daughters and her sweet cat, Zelda, and of course, dancing.
Tammy was the most caring person and would do anything for anybody no matter what time it was. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her two daughters, Heidi (Mario) Tiano of Norwalk, IA and Heather (Ryan) Gay of Norwalk, IA; three grandchildren, Charlie Tiano, Jayda Gay, and Tanner Gay; brothers, Gary (Margie) Ehrenfried and Jon (Lois) Ehrenfried; and many nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Albert and Evelyn Ehrenfried; two sisters, Susan Pickrell and Judy Carney; and ex-husband, Steve Kordick (best friend).
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
