Stephanie Marie Martin

Stephanie Marie Martin, born May 29, 1951, in Peoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home in Johnston, Iowa, on April 13, 2025.

Stephanie grew up in Lacon, Illinois, surrounded by her siblings, and later moved to Iowa where she lovingly raised her two daughters. She had a passion for cooking and homemaking, and her home was often filled with the warmth of family and friends. The sea was in her soul, she found her greatest joy at the beach, basking in the sunshine.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Stephanie is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Doug) Mayer of Gainesville, Florida, and Jeaninne (Kerry) Blind of Johnston, Iowa; six grandchildren: Lexie, Abbie, Annie, and Johnny Mayer; Claire and Emma Blind. She is also survived by her mother, Justine Marie Budd; and siblings Melvin (Cathy) Budd Jr., Maryanne (Gary) Anerino, John (Cheryl) Budd, and Laurie (Greg) Vincent.

A private service will be held for immediate family.
