Sharyl Mathison

Sharyl Mathison was born on February 5, 1942, in Ida Grove Iowa.  She passed away on September 2, 2025, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada Iowa.  Sharyl grew up in Cherokee Iowa and graduated from Washington High School in 1960.  Following graduation, she went to business school in Omaha before moving to Minneapolis where she met her husband, Kyle.  Sharyl and Kyle met on a snowy night on February 14, 1962.  They were married on May 5, 1963, and lived in Minneapolis.  In 1977 they moved to the suburbs of Chicago where they were for 10 years before moving to Louisville.  They were in Louisville for the next 30 years before moving to Nevada Iowa in 2016 to be closer to family. 

Sharyl is survived by her husband Kyle, son Chris (Kim) Mathison, daughter Lisa (David) Kerr, grandchildren Melissa (Kevin) Meehan, Kyle Kerr, Michael Mader, Tracy (Michael) Radtke, sisters Julie (Chuck) Tolzin and Susan Yenerich; great grandchildren, Nolan, Elowyn, Brooke, Hunter, Reid and Charlotte.  She was preceded in death by her parents Harlan and Betty Conard. 

She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
