Randy Davidson passed away on November 5, 2020 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Randy Raymond Davidson, born on November 22, 1954, to his proud parents Robert and Loretta Mae (Perret) Davidson in Waterloo, Iowa.
On September 10, 2011 in Algona, IA surrounded by family and friends, Randy married Diane Marie (Jenkins). To this union, Randy brought 3 children and Diane brought 3 children.
Randy worked at Stone Container for a few years and then went to work at CDS Global for 17+ years in the Shipping and Receiving department. Due to health issues, Randy retired.
Randy loved to grill, smoke food, cook and bake. He was known for making up funny songs, jokes and pulling pranks on people, all to make you laugh. He loved to dance and make up dances. Randy loved watching Jeopardy and playing games on his phone to challenge himself.
Randy is survived by his wife, Diane of Des Moines, IA, children: Bill Davidson of Waterloo, IA; Tracy Davidson (Felix Gonzalez) of Colorado Springs, CO; Angela (Davidson) Anglin (Ujaama) of Waverly, IA; step-children: Jesse Carlson of Iowa City, IA; Melissa Carlson of Conroy, IA; Aaron (AJ) Garoutte Jr. of Des Moines, IA; brother: Robert “Bob” (Donna) Davidson of Waterloo, IA; sister: Cindy “Rickets” (Marty) Davidson-Mapson of Illinois, 17+ grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. Randy is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and brother.
There will be no services at this time per Randy’s request.
