Patrick “Scott” Bales was born in Knoxville, Iowa to Roger & Jane Bales on August 25, 1959.
Scott was raised and attended school in Melcher Dallas, Iowa.
Scott worked as a construction worker and did a lot of traveling to different states for his job. Scott was liked by just about everyone, he definitely had many friends. Most would say he was the life of the party. Scott enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to UFC fights, riding mules, and hanging with friends. He was fearless and even though life threw him a ton of curve balls, he was always smiling and as he would put it, “I’m a chug a lug chug a lug”. He had his own sayings for things and a nickname for everyone. He had a huge desire to live and was not one to show weakness, in fact he seemed to be absolutely fearless. Scott loved the Lord and another one of his popular sayings was “Paise the Lord”.
Scott left us behind when he answered the Lords call to rest on February 08, 2024. He was welcomed home by his parents Roger & Jane Bales, and brother John Bales.
Left to carry on his memories and legacy are his ex-wife, Rhonda Ohl; daughter Dina (Daryl) Holton-Brooks; grandsons Dorian Brooks, Kenneth Brooks, and Anthony Brooks. Sibling Rusty (Margaret) Bales; nephews Nick Bales and Andrew Bales, nieces Valerie Kazda and Amy Bales Freeman. Best friends Pat, Ted and Dan and His “Number 1” nurses Tara and Deb along with his long-time staff (family) at Accura Healthcare of Knoxville.
