Patricia Elizabeth Skinner

Patricia Elizabeth Skinner, age 71, was born on April 6, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, and passed away on December 30, 2025, at St. Luke’s UnityPoint Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.

Patricia was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and a graduate of Saydel High School. She was truly a ball of fire and the life of the party—a jack of all trades with a big heart. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children: Pauline (Michael) Langerak, Frankie (Veronica) Acklin, Rebecca Acklin, and George Gaskey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her sister, Rebecca Cantrell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lilamay (Palmer) Greene, and her husband, Richard Skinner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with cremation expenses.
