Micah Daniel Green was born October 4,1972, in Houston, Texas, and peacefully passed away April 1, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Micah was an active child, running around the house and jumping off furniture until an awkward jump resulted in a broken foot.  Like many of us, Micah loved Star Wars. Many days of his youth were filled having light saber fights with plastic bats.  From his early years through adulthood, he collected cards, posters and figures, putting them on his walls as decoration. Micah loved pets and animals, giving them all the love and attention he could muster.  He also loved plants and gardening, tending to his seedlings like a master gardener.

Micah loved his family, especially his mother.  He would often call her to check in and loved to cook for her, using the culinary skills he picked up over his lifetime.  He had an adventurous spirit and was not afraid to share his opinions on any topic. Nothing was off limits.  Slighting his beloved Dallas Cowboys, taste in music, politics or beliefs would bring a retort of some kind.  Micah spent time in the Navy and loved to travel and visit different areas of the country.

Micah is survived by his mother, Joyce Sparks, his sister, Kelley Dare, and brother, David Green.

Micah was preceded in death by his father, Dan Williams, his grandmother, Dorothy Clark, and his grandfather, WD Clark.

A celebration of life service will be planned at a future date.  Micah, you will be missed and never forgotten.  Rest in Peace.
