Melody Ann Culler, 61, of Des Moines, IA passed away January 21, 2022 at Mercy Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held March 19, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Service Center located at 1216 E 25th Court, Des Moines, IA.
Melody was born to Charlie and Sharon Baker in Des Moines, Iowa. Melody worked as a newspaper carrier for the Des Moines Register where she met the love of her life William Culler.
Melody was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Carl Baker, sister-in-law Donna Baker, and brother-in-law Ron Woolson. Melody was survived by her 3 daughters Heather Culler, Rebecca Culler, and Emily Rew (Derrick Rew), sister Sherry Woolson (Marcus Robinson), brother-in-law Jim Culler (Jo Lynch). 5 grandchildren; Charlie, Elizabeth, Billy, Rylee, and Hailey; and her nieces and nephews that made her eyes light up when she was around them.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heather Culler as the representative of the family who is handling Melody's affairs.
