Mary Frances (Forsyth) Cline 

Mary Cline, 65, of Winterset passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at home after a short battle with lung and brain cancer. 

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May, 9th from 3-5 at Middle River Park (Canoe Landing) South of Winterset on Clark Tower Rd. 

Mary Frances Forsyth was born December 14, 1960 to Wilbur and Louise Forsyth in Dallas County. Mary graduated from Winterset High School in 1979. Mary lived and worked in the community for most of her life. Mary had a very boisterous personality, but at the end of the day she enjoyed the little things and spending quality time with her family and friends. Mary enjoyed reading, was extremely crafty, loved cooking, and going on trips. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, David. Her parents, her in-laws, and her brother Leo. 

Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Emily and Michael Alery of New Virginia; her beloved grandchildren Mackenna and Korbin. Her brother and sister-in-law Mike and Bonnie Forsyth of Winterset; her brothers-in-law Denny Cline of Virginia, Rob and Marty Cline of Winterset, and Kevin and Teresa Cline of Des Moines; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extremely close friends.
