Marguerite (Peggy) Sullivan (94) passed away at home on Monday, September 16th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in St.Paul, Minnesota, Peggy grew up in Minneapolis. She was a graduate of the Academy of Holy Angels and the Minneapolis College of Fine and Applied Arts where she met her husband, Bob. She was a wonderful wife and an equally wonderful mother to her three children. After raising her family, Peggy found great joy in teaching pre-school, which she did for over twenty years. She retired from Apple Tree Children’s Center in 1997. She also found enjoyment in animals, books, movies, and music.
Peggy is survived by her son Michael (Darcy), of Mankato, Minnesota, her son Terry and daughter Peggy both of WDM, as well as by her beloved grandchildren Spencer Smith of WDM and Heather (Wes) Pederson of Rosemont, MN and two great grandchildren Ben and Matthew Pederson. Peggy is also survived by her sister Marilynn Peters of Waconia, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sullivan and her sister, Barbara Arnold of Houston, Texas.
Peggy will be inurned with her husband at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Animal Rescue League or the Humane Society.
