Larry G. Walker, 82, went to be with the Lord October 25th, 2020.
He is survived by his son Monte and former wife Joan.
Larry was born in Perry, Iowa to Smith and Audrey Walker and lived most of his life in Des Moines.
He served in the Air National Guard as an aircraft mechanic, worked as a machinist at John Deere, as an investment broker, and retired after many years as a Realtor with Iowa Realty.
Larry was always a "wind in your hair" type of guy who had a passion for boating and motorcycles right up to his last days, and was known for his warm, giving personality and never resting sense of humor.
Larry attended Hope Lutheran Church, and always strived to put Christ first in his life.
A Celebration of Life to be held at a more socially comfortable time in the future.
