Joshua Alan Eastwood

Joshua Alan Eastwood 47, of Martensdale, Iowa passed away on Saturday January 11th in Norwalk, Iowa.

Joshua was born April 14, 1977, in Fort Dodge, the son of Brenda Duffy and Louis Eastwood. He spent his formative years in Fort Dodge and later attended schools in Des Moines. He married his high school sweetheart Amanda Stajcar in 2002, two children were born of this union, Jeron John, and Charlette Anne.

Joshua had a love of nature at an early age and in his youth became an Eagle Scout. Spending time with his family was very special to him. He enjoyed cooking with Amanda, loved attending concerts with family, watching football with Jeron and watching videos with Charlette. He also loved traveling with trips to Jamacia, Japan and most recently Fiji. 

Joshua spent many years as a telecommunications technician with his most recent job at Facebook.

Survivors include his wife Amanda, son Jeron John, daughter Charlette Anne, father Louis (Carol) Eastwood of Minnesota, brothers Brian (Aria) Hoover of Japan, Louis (Savahnah) Eastwood III and Dylan Eastwood of South Dakota and sisters Jessica (Lonnie) Roiger and Amanda (Alec) Nolte of Minnesota. Aunt Susan Bryant of Norwalk, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Preceding him in death were his mother Brenda Duffy, Grandmother Rachel Voss, Father-in-law John F Stajcar, Uncles Lou Voss and Alan Voss, Aunt Anne Hildreth and cousins Aaron Bryant and Eben Castellano. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date due to travel constraints of family members.
