John “Chris” Pierick, 56, passed away July 25th 2020.
Chris was born January 29th 1964 to Robert SR and JoAnn in Des Moines, IA. Chris attended Dowling High School and further graduated from Grandview College in Des Moines. He spent many of years in California pursing his computer and software passion. Chris had tremendous love for his favorite teams, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco Giants. He enjoyed cooking and being a handyman to help all around.
Cherished to carry his memory and remembering his contagious smile are his parents Robert SR and JoAnn Pierick, Sisters and Brothers, Patricia Baker, Rodney (Ivy) Pierick, Lori (Kenneth) Bryant, Robert JR (Jennifer) Pierick, Jason (Myla) Pierick. 8 nieces, 7 nephews, several loving friends and extended family.
Services for Chris will be on Saturday August 1, 2020 at St. Mary of Nazareth Catholic Church, 4600 Meredith Drive in Des Moines. The family will be present for visitation at the church on Saturday from 9-11am, Mass services will begin at 11am with gravesite burial following at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. A celebration of Life Luncheon will follow the gravesite services at The Hideaway Derrys Lounge 4845 Merle Hay Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Masks for the service is appreciated.
