Jerry Wayne Kobrock (69) of Des Moines, IA passed away on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 28, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Ethal ‘Grace’ Dawson & Ernst Kobrock.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary and their children Jerry Kobrock of Des Moines, Richard (Jamie) Selby of Runnells, Jessica Kobrock of Indianola and Christina Purscel of Des Moines, along with his brother Bill (Maude) Grear of Des Moines and sister Roxie (Kevin) Reed of Des Moines. He has 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren along with a large extended family with many nieces and nephews.
Jerry always lived his life on his terms…his way. He greatly enjoyed country music, riding horses, fishing and especially fast and loud motorcycles and cars. He was especially fond of his junkin’ & collecting of all things. He was always willing to help anyone who was in need and will be greatly missed by all of his family and his dearest friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
