Jerald “Jerry” Corwin 74, of Windsor Heights passed away at Home on Friday, February 11, 2022.
Jerald LeRoy Corwin was born in Iowa on February 27, 1947; he was the son of Leroy Edward and Virginia Mae (Nelson) Corwin. Jerry served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Jerry worked for the Des Moines Register and retired after 42 years of faithful service. He enjoyed walking the dog, long trips to Maine with Patricia, and vacation there, BBQs at his daughter’s house and watching old westerns on the TV.
Left to cherish his memory are his longtime partner, Patricia Brigance, son, Eric Leroy Corwin of Chicago and daughter, Mendy Sue Corwin of Des Moines, Iowa and his four- legged friend Missy who went everywhere.
The family will be having a private gathering at a later date.
