Jennie "Beth" Elizabeth Hyde

Jennie, who friends and family knew her as Beth, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 2, 2024, at home in Des Moines. No Memorial services will be held to honor her wishes, a graveside service with the family will be held later.
Beth, the daughter of Forrest Glenn and Margaret Lenore (Lewis) Olcott, was born Dec 8, 1940, in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up in a family with her 6 siblings. On April 15, 1960, Beth was united in marriage with the love of her life Donald Ivan Hyde. Through her life she was a loving wife, mother and homemaker, she enjoyed reading and discussing scripture and signing to the hearing impaired. She loved spending time with her beloved family.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rose Elizabeth Bronemann; and siblings, Forrest, Ramel, Lenore, Catherine, and Imogene.
Beth is lovingly remembered by her husband, Donald; children; Crist (Joyce) Hyde, Teresa (Hyde) Sinclair, Donald (Andrea) Hyde, Jr., Shawn (Lisa) Hyde, Jason (Missy) Hyde; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great - great grandchildren; and sibling, Marilyn Parsons.
