Janice K. Taylor

Janice K. (Burck) Taylor, 84, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at Ramsey Village.

Janice was born on March 20, 1941, in Montezuma, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Bertha Burck.  She graduated from Millersburg High School in 1959 and went on to attend AIB College. Janice dedicated much of her career to caring for others, working as a nurse's aide at the VA Hospital. After retirement, she continued to serve her community through volunteer work at the Northwest Community Center.

On September 7, 1962, Janice married Robert Taylor, who survives her.  She is also survived by her son Andy, daughter Amber, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Burck.

No services are planned, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Ramsey Village Nursing Home in Janice's memory.
