Helen Elaine Beach

Helen Elaine Beach, born July 8, 1953, in Lansing, Michigan, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Helen was a free spirit who lived life on her own terms. She had a deep love for animals and especially enjoyed raising tropical birds, including her beloved parrot. Helen spent most of her life in Michigan before moving to Missouri and eventually settling in Iowa.

She is survived by her sons, Ezra (Mistie) Beach and William Beach; grandsons Dakota (Sam) Beach, Tsolemn Beach, and Hunter Beach; and her sister, Denna (David) Proctor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Betty Schray; her sister, Susie; and her brothers, Craig Greathouse, Thad Beach, Thay Beach, and Michael “Kevin” Beach.

Cremation has taken place at The Cremation Society of Iowa. Helen will be laid to rest in Michigan, where she was born.
