Dearest mother, Granny and Great Granny Frances Elizabeth (Lazzara) HAAG, 87, of Johnston Iowa died Wednesday, November 20, 2024. She was born April 29, 1937, the daughter of Frank and Laura (Basile)Lazzara of Elgin Illinois.
Frances dedicated her life to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a fantastic cook.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Laura Lazzara, her brother Frank Joseph Lazzara of Elgin, and her daughter Annette Gail Haag of Des Moines Iowa, daughter-in-law Brenda Haag of Altoona Iowa, son -in-law David Ridgway of Johnston Iowa.
She is survived by her sister Loretta Rogers of Elgin Illinois. Frances’s four children, Laurie (Brett) Banister of Larkspur, Colorado, Phillip Haag of Altoona, Iowa, Carrie (David) Murdoch of Cleburne Texas, and Rosemary Ridgway of Johnston Iowa. 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with two on the way.
