Earnest Nolan Jr.

October 16, 1951 – May 14, 2025

Earnest Nolan Jr. was born on October 16, 1951, in Waterloo, Iowa, and passed away in Oelwein, Iowa, on May 14, 2025.

He is survived by his children: Shane Nolan, Jamie Gienau, PJ Nolan, Arden Harp, and Orrion Harp; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brothers Rick Nolan and Billy Nolan; and sisters Sue Jones and Terry Reiners. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Melvina Nolan.

Earnest proudly served in the United States Navy. He later found fulfillment in his work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where he brought care and compassion to others. He had a deep love for his dog and other pets and found joy in spending the holidays surrounded by family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, 34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003.

Rest easy, Earnest. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.
