Debbie L. Cooper

Debbie L. Cooper died September 16, 2026, at home in Des Moines, surrounded by family.

Debbie worked in healthcare her whole life. She worked as a CNA, ward clerk, RN, and caregiver to her mother and mother-in-law. She loved hanging out with family and friends, crafting, shopping, and spending time with her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Edna Consolver; brother, Larry Consolver; and sister, Rosie Shivers.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Cooper; son, Aaron Cooper; nieces, Karla Van, Joell Reed, and Josett Consolver; and nephew, Kurt Shivers.
