David M. Booth, age 67, of Des Moines passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at home.
Graveside service for David Booth will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter on November 22, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.
David Michael Booth was born December 15, 1953, to Kenneth and Kay Booth in Des Moines.
David was raised in Des Moines and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He joined the Army in August 1975. After his discharge in August 1978, he became a member of the Army Reserve. He worked many years as a millwright and home remodeling. David enjoyed spending time woodworking, canoeing and fishing.
David is survived by his longtime partner Teressa Hollister of Des Moines, sister Mary Kay Booth of Cassville, Missouri, brother Jim Booth of Nixon, Missouri and brother John Booth (Carol) of Des Moines, along with relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents and brother Mark.
