Craig Thomas King

Craig Thomas King passed away on September 22, 2024, in the comfort of his home and surrounded by those he loved most, ending his 2-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy; daughters Briawna, Bethanie, and Janelle; mother, Patty; brothers, Phillip and Gary Jr; and many close friends that he considered family. He is reunited with his father, Gary and grandmother, Iona.

The people close to Craig would tell you that he was thoughtful and always willing to lend a hand. That he turned his struggles into a source of strength for others. He was equally smart and quick-witted. Most of all, that he will be very missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 29th at the Franklin Center West Reception Hall, 4801 Franklin Ave Des Moines, from 1pm - 4pm.   Parking is available in the South lot on Franklin Ave. Use Southwest stairs to enter, reception hall is on the right.
