Brandon Lee Curtis 65 of Grimes, Iowa met his maker and Lord Jesus on the 26th of September 2023 after a long struggle with cancer.

Brandon was born on February 25, 1958, in Des Moines Iowa to JoAnn Smith and Gregory Curtis. He graduated from Tech High School in Des Moines where he began his career working side by side with his father in the house building trade for 10 years. He became a superintendent of Fisher Group and a locksmith at Strauss Lock Company.
Brandon enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, football, hunting and gardening. He was known for staying busy all the time doing side jobs even into his retirement with lawn care and snow removal.
In 2011 he met his sweetheart Michele Collier, and they married on April 11, 2020.
He fathered 2 children, Michael Curtis (Becky) and Michele Chance of Des Moines Iowa. His 2 stepchildren Nicole Lacour of Grimes Iowa and Quinton LeClercq (Kaitlyn) of Ft. Smith Arkansas.
He loved his mancave (garage) and enjoyed being a caretaker to his grandson Jack Lacour as well as enjoying many camping trips with his family.
Surviving spouse Michele of Grimes Iowa and his children, mother Joann Smith of Des Moines Iowa, mother and father- in- law James and Marile South. Sister- in- law Cherie Cutkomp (Timothy) of Jewell Iowa. Sisters Leigh Ann Curtis Des Moines Iowa. Sarah Vandersluis (Steve) of Des Moines Iowa. Nine nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Gregory Curtis and his sister Gina Curtis.
