Betty Marie Lynch (Lehner) peacefully passed away May 9th, 2026, surrounded by family. Betty was born on February 27th, 1935, living her early years on the Lehner family farm outside of Dixon Nebraska.
Betty married the love of her life, Barry Lynch on March 20th, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa, and then settled in Urbandale to raise their four children.
Betty loved spending her free time in her flower gardens and watching and identifying the different birds coming to her many bird feeders. Betty and Barry also enjoyed all kinds of activities through their local Eastern Star Chapter, traveling the United States, and wintering in Texas.
Her legacy includes her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
No service will be held at this time however, a celebration of life for both Betty and Barry are planned for later this summer, to reminisce the years of marriage they spent together.
