Anne came into Joan and Lyle Middleton's lives on November 17, 1966. She led a happy life as the oldest child of four girls. After graduating from Colorado College, Anne got her Master’s Degree in Teaching and taught in Denver, CO., Des Moines, IA., and Las Vegas NV. for 25 years. Anne touched the lives of many people through her teaching, coaching, and the sharing of her authentic self. On occasion, she delighted her students by surprising them with a special classroom visitor, her father, Lyle.
Anne was preceded in death by her father, Lyle, and sister, Abby.
Left to cherish Anne's memory is her mother, Joan, her sister, Mary (Suzanne), her sister, Sara and her children, Nate & Elizabeth Bering. The world just won't be the same without those dimples!
A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Anne Elizabeth Middleton will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00am at Central Presbyterian Church 3829 Grand Ave. Des Moines, IA.
A reception will be held directly after the service at a private residence.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be directed to Planned Parenthood North Central States or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in Anne's memory.
