Abbe Noelle Jensen (Abby) age 31, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at home after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
Abbe was born November 21, 1989 in Story City, Iowa the daughter of Catharine Michelle (Pauk) Jensen and David Lindsay Jensen.
Abbe lived most of her life in Des Moines, however she did live in Hoboken, NJ, as an elementary student. Abbe attended Roosevelt High School in Des Moines and was a 2010 graduate of Scavo High School also in Des Moines.
Abbe worked at Scottish Rite Park in Des Moines and loved spending time with her co-workers and the residents. Abbe also loved everything Disney, reading books, watching movies, completing puzzles, listening to music and trying new foods and restaurants. Abbe loved her family and friends, but her first love was always cats. Abbe had a smile for everyone and made friends wherever she went.
Abbe is preceded in death by her father, David and also her beloved cats Boo-Boo Kitty, Buttons, Betsy and Teddy Graham.
She is survived by her mother, Catharine of Des Moines, her grandparents Nina Akin of Carroll, Iowa, Fred and Mary Pauk of Ames, Iowa, Maryellen Hanson of Story City, Iowa, her half-sister Cortney, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her companions to the end, Oreo and Chester. A private family burial to be held at a later date.
