Easter Sunday 2026, the Lord called home our most beloved Peggy Jo Henning on the celebration of His greatest day, a fitting and meaningful moment for a life so full of faith and love.
Peg was born in Des Moines on June 5, 1952, to Betty and Owen Daly. She was an incredible wife to her husband, Tim, a devoted mother to Nicole, and a loving mother-in-law to Tim McFarland. She was also a very proud and cherished grandmother to Mackenzie and Allie McFarland.
Peg truly personified the gift of caring and nurturing. She touched countless lives through her kindness, warmth, and unwavering support of those around her.
She retired after a long career at Mercy ENT, where she was known for her exceptional people skills and willingness to step in wherever needed. She was someone others could always count on.
Peg is also survived by her brother, Michael Daly, her sister, Pat Laurenzo, and her former sister-in-law, Chrystalla Boyadjis, who was truly like a sister to her.
Peg will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and all who knew her. While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she is at peace and reunited in heaven. Her love, her strength, and the way she cared for others will continue to guide us every day. She leaves behind a legacy that will live on not only in memory, but in how we love one another-just as she taught us.
In place of flowers, please make donations to St. John the Apostle Church. Funeral Mass to be held June 5th, 10 am, with luncheon to follow at St. John the Apostle Church, 720 Orchard Hills Dr, Norwalk, IA
